India-Nepal 2012

Thu 15 Mar, 2012

I always wanted to visit India, so mystical and different than the west, a land of many attractions. We decided to do it in March 2012. The planning took longer than usual in order to combine some culture, a safari and the beach. Then I thought that it would be a pity to all this way without visiting Nepal. At the end, the itinerary included landing to New Delhi, a drive to Neemrana to stay at the unique palace, a Golden Triangle tour, i.e. Jaipur and Agra and Delhi, a tiger safari at the Jim Corbett National Park, return to Delhi, fly to Nepal for two days, one day in Kolkata, four days in the exotic Havelock island in the Andamans, again back to Delhi before returning to Athens. Three weeks, changing 11 hotels and many moods.
