Three days in London

Sun 20 Oct, 2013

Right after my return from Madagascar, I visited London for three days. It has been a while since my last visit and forgot what a great city it is. Lovely restaurants, an excellent theater and art scene, an international crowd, great shopping, in other words a city break heaven. The summer was over and I was totally unprepared as Athens was still in the high 30s, so I had to do some shopping to stay warm in the evening.

I stayed in Mayfair and used mostly the tube for the daily commutes, although I did not pass the opportunity to flag down a London cab.

On the last day a friend walked me form Mayfair to Tate modern. The sky was heavy with some rain now and then and I had the opportunity to shoot some moody pictures of this lovely city.

I feel a bit of envy for the people that work and live here, unlike us who live in the outskirts of Europe.
